Bachelor course: Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Semester: 5

About myself: I’m passionate about electronics and a big fan of the internet of things. I’m mainly interested in software, embedded systems and wireless technologies. In my short career as a student I’ve worn many hats already, things varying from analogue designer to embedded software developer to application developer. I love prototyping and designing big systems. Not only do I have big ideas, I execute them, execution is what matters after all.

As an undergraduate it’s my main mission to have as much experience as possible before I start my career. So I’m always looking for new thing to learn and accepting new challenges. Besides the normal course, I work multiple side projects and when time allows it, I’m at home working on hobby projects.

About PROUD: I joined PROUD because I want to get a name in the industry, gain experience about how the development process is done and ultimately build an excellent curriculum vitae to kick-start my career. I see PROUD as a great opportunity for my personal development. It allows me to further improve both my professional and technical skills by working in an environment with engineers and professionals.

About myself: As a little kid, technology and electronics had caught my interest. This early interest was the reason for me to become an engineer. I am a motivated person who thinks in challenges instead of problems. This positive mindset, along with dedication, make me a good problem solver. My field of interest is broad and I have an open mindset making me well suited for a variety of challenges.

Semester: 7
Role in PROUD committee: Media

About myself: I am young student eager to get more and more technical knowledge. Challenging myself became part of my behaviour during the first year of studies, that is why I joined Proud program. If I was to choose a word that definitely does not describe me, I would say ‘lazy’ – I spend most of the time on activities that prove me that I am hardworking person.

About PROUD Programme: For me as an Eastern European, the education at Fontys prepares the student to work in the industry much more than what I would get in my motherland – usually an engineer with a master degree has spent 2 months on the internship, and here getting a bachelor degree requires the student to work for a minimum of a year, but I am of course aiming for more, and the Proud programme gives me the chance to realise it.
